9/28/98 18:40:46 - I'm back from my weekend. Thanks to everyone who was concerned about the lack of the usual daily updates on the World of Goo, they'll be coming as always. Some random tidbits:
- www.googoodolls.com is active now, but it is just a mirror of the new WB site, or vice-versa.
- The Goo's were on 120 Minutes yesterday, they showed Slide and We Are The Normal
- Rolling Stone gave Dizzy Up The Girl 3 out of 5 stars
- Read MTV's review of Dizzy Up The Girl.
9/24/98 16:58:14 - Info on a new show in Wilkes-Barre, PA! Also, apparently the Slide video is airing on MuchMusic!

9/23/98 21:02:02 - Warner Brothers has redone their Goo Goo Dolls page! Check it out!
19:44:15 - The Goo's may be playing the ear1 MusicFest '98! Check out the ear1 site for details!
10:33:38 - Another poor review, this stinks. Wall of Sound gives it 60/100.
On a better note, the Goo's on Stern went well, they played Iris and Name and then they spun the Slide CD. During Name, Johnny apparently sang "and I won't tell 'em you're gay," and I've heard from multiple sources that the performance will be on the Stern TV show on Saturday - check your local listings.
00:32:20 - Further confirmation on the 120 Minutes show! The Goo's will be on next Sunday and will premeire the video for Slide!
9/22/98 21:31:06 - Things aren't looking good critically, so far, I believe, we have a B-, C+, and now Allstar Magazine gives Dizzy a 6 out of 10.
14:26:59 - Dizzy Up The Girl is out! Go pick up your copy NOW, if you haven't yet!
- Check out the SonicNet article "Goo Goo Dolls Try To Shake Pop Stereotype With New LP.
- The CANOE article, Dizzying array of Goo Goo effects, even though they claim this is the Goo's fourth album.
- E! Online gives it a C+ (Boo!)
Also, the Goo's will be on Howard Stern tomorrow, according to many sources!
9/21/98 21:10:05 - I don't have this confirmed, but apparently Howard Stern announced this morning that the Goo's will be playing his show. Who knows if it's true. Also, I heard they will be guests on 120 Minutes next Sunday, but again, I haven't confirmed this.
07:15:11 - Dizzy Up The Girl is out at midnight tonight! Check with your local music stores to see if they are having midnight sales and be sure to go buy your copy of Dizzy Up The Girl as soon as you can!
9/20/98 22:44:02 - New concert date! The Goo's will be playing the Agora in Cleveland, OH on November 11! (Thanks, K-Ron!)
10:46:33 - Someone has a birthday coming up!! That's right, everyone's favorite bassist, Robby Takac, has a birthday on September 30! Although Robby's email is available, to reduce scroll in his inbox, if you would like to send your birthday wishes to me, then I will collect them and forward them all to Robby on his birthday to give him a great birthday present! You can either email them to [email protected] or submit them through the feedback form! I'm sending them on 9/30, but get yours in today!

- According to Rock News, Slide is #1 in stations added this week with 30! (Thanks, Ken!)

I will not make any profit off these shirts -- you will be buying them at my cost plus shipping.

9/11/98 23:00:23 - Two new Goo gigs! The Goo's will play the Center for the Arts in Scottsdale, AZ on Sept. 18 (this may be the much rumored Phoenix show?) and will play Jay Leno's Tonight Show on Sept. 21!

9/2/98 19:18:16 - Rumor time (something tells me rumors are going to fly for the next 2.5 weeks). Ashley tells me she heard the Goo's are playing October 29 at the Mississippi Coast Colliseum. Tix are $15-$17.50. Again, no confirmation on this.
17:29:10 - More assorted tidbits:
- I updated the Discography!
- Even though Iris is falling in most major charts, it still is #1 around the world, including Edmonton (thanks Vicki) and Z100 and many others (including Newfoundland, CA!)
- More on the Slide video, from Chrissy: Apparently, it's something about a girl sneaking out to a Dairy Queen, although I don't have this confirmed. Chrissy says there was an audition in LA I believe yesterday.
