Tickets for the No Doubt shows with U2 are selling fast, all but 3 shows are sold out! Some new dates have been added (Staples Center - Nov 13 and 19), and these shows are also sold out. The show on November 24th in New York is not confirmed on the U2 site, Pollstar.com or Ticketmaster.com, so this may be a mistake on the No Doubt site.

Earlier this week, the single "What's Going On" (a Marvin Gaye cover featuring tons of artists including U2 and of course Gwen) has hit radio waves. You can hear it on pretty much any pop station as it includes people like Christina Aguilera and a Backstreet Boy. Gwen sings 2 lines, and they are right at the beginning of the song. There is also a "video" (picture of the recording process) that has been created and is currently airing on MTV. The CD single will be released October 23. Also, a site has been set up in support of this single. Click here to see it.

Top Stars Cover Marvin Gaye For Charity

Some of the music industry's biggest stars, including Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, 'N Sync, Destiny's Child, Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys and Gwen Stefani, are participating in sessions for a new recording of Marvin Gaye's 1971 crossover hit "What's Going On." The recording has been organized in New York by producer Jermaine Dupri and U2 frontman Bono, and aims to raise money for AIDS research in Africa.

The single has been recorded to benefit the Global AIDS Alliance, and will be released on December 1st, Global AIDS awareness day, according to Rolling Stone.

The track, recorded in September in New York, was put together by Leigh Blake, head of Artists Against AIDS Worldwide. Blake was also the man behind the Red Hot Organization, which has released thirteen AIDS benefit albums since 1990.

Bono was the first onboard for the project, and Blake says that with his help, recruiting the other artists was "easy".

"This is our generation's cause - they're younger, they're less apathetic and more aware of the situation in Africa," she said. "These artists have a voice, and it's a voice for change."

I sure hope there will be a video for this clip!
