The "warm-up" band (and I use that term loosely) was Fastball, and they only made the night better. In my opinion they played a little longer than they should have (about 1 1/2 hours or so), but they were awesome. I was tired by the time they were done, and I got scared that I'd have nothing left (in terms of energy) when Goo Goo Dolls came on. But I went out into the lobby, got myself a stash of water, went back in, and before long, the lights went out.... and i got to the second row with my friend....
They started the show off with their usual "Dizzy" and went straight into "Long Way Down". The place was going crazy, and the Goos were at their best. John was in an awesome mood, and so was the rest of the band, which means that they went ALL OUT. The show went great and smooth, and the band was amazing. I didn't keep track of the setlist, because I was too into the whole thing, but they kept to their traditional list pretty much. All in all, this was the experience of a lifetime, and whoever missed this show missed out on a major party. The Goos are a band that MAKES you like them...you just can't help NOT liking them! On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the greatest, this show, in my opinion was at least a 20...
