It's been one hell of a day! I'm exhausted, and am in the process of uploading all of my pics from today to my FB page...

Soundcheck this afternoon was awesome. �As we were going into the amphitheater, Mike came off the bus and yelled "hey, you must be the radio people! �I'm going in with you guys!" and he joined us as we made our way through :) �Sat in the front row, and out came the rest of the guys. �John got set up, looked down at me and goes "hey girlie, thanks for coming down today. �It's great to see you" I swear I almost melted (and not because of the heat). �It was quick...they played Slide & January Friend...and then we took pictures (and yes, I did get hugs from all 3 of them) and back outside we went. �Still waiting for the radio station to post the pics on this one though...

I also had an IM M&G...so I was spoiled. �That pic came out great...except that John insisted that he wouldn't take off his sunglasses...and we were inside!!! �There was an unusually large amount of people there for meet & greets too...probably close to 50...never seen that many before!

And on to the show...I can't remember most of the setlist to save my life. �Security let those of us in the front row move up to the rail, so I was able to get right about where Brad is on the stage instead of all the way on the side where my seat was. They of course opened with Last Hot Night In America...somewhere in there was Slide, Fallin Down (which John pre-empted with "this one is for the old people" and laughed), Name, Iris, January Friend, Lucky Star, Black Balloon, Broadway, All That You Are, Cuz You're Gone w/1000 words, and a few others that are escaping my mind right now. �Our encore was NAKED and Give A Little Bit. �And just like that, it was over. �I'm exhausted from the heat...and I have no voice...but it was sooo worth it!!

Side note...I should have looked at the t-shirt I bought...I noticed when I got home that it has all the Canadian cities from earlier in the year on it...and not the current ones :(

Hey, "girlie"...thanks for posting! I had a few laughs reading this. It sounds like you had a fantastic time, I'm happy for ya!

lolz: "Falling Down" is for old people.

Interesting change-up for the encore. Shade will certainly have a comment about that.

Sounds like you had a wonderful day/night. I'm so happy for you "girlie". I love it when WOGers and true fans in general get to have such a great experience.

If I remember right from the whole Live from Daryl's House videos & his tweets after that, John's sunglasses are prescription. He probably wanted to be able to see you. ;)

I must be the only Goo fan who actually likes Give A Little Bit. I would've loved to have heard that one. But I always did like Supertramp.

Psst...Shannon, don't tell anyone, but

I always liked Supertramp too. I bought their album with "Give a Little Bit" twice. Once in the 70's, and again after the Goo's did the remake.

It'll be our little secret.

Funny story, I just heard Give A Little Bit on 96.3WDVD today. Which is shocking because that radio station really doesn't veer far from Slide.

Also, jealous that they played that AND Naked for your encore. :P

I got a peek at the set list during soundcheck...and when I saw Naked was in the encore I couldn't believe it!!!

Such a great time...I hope it isn't another 4 years before they come back again!!

Here's a link to the radio station's soundcheck pictures...I think mine is the only picture where no one looks totally uncomfortable...although John is making an interesting face :)

We Got Let Love In & Big Machine. Don't get me wrong, I LOOOVVEEE Big Machine, but I would've also LOVVVEEED to hear Naked!!!
