The Goo Goo Dolls new video for 'Notbroken' is the closest thing to an anti-war anthem that frontman Johnny Rzeznik and company will probably ever write. While the band has never shied away from social issues, they tend to focus their songs on more personal and intimate stories, and 'Notbroken' is a perfect example of that songwriting. On their website, Rzeznik described the Goo Goo Dolls inspiration behind the song.

"I got a letter from a woman whose husband was in Iraq. He was injured � paralyzed � and he doesn't want to come home. He wants to stay in the hospital. He's ashamed of himself. He feels like he's less. And she just wants to let him know that he's still everything that she ever wanted. I don't know, it just kind of came out. It's kind of like I was writing a love letter to him on her behalf."

'Notbroken' is now the Goo Goo Dolls most downloaded song on iTunes, surpassing their No. 1 hit 'Iris,' and the video for the lead single off their newest album, 'Something for the Rest of Us,' tells this difficult story in an interesting manner. Shot to look similar to the old silhouette iPod commercials, we see both the wife and her husband's life play out on screen, with an ending that should leave you feeling a bit closer to both.

So what do you all think? I think this video is amazing. The band and director outdid themselves. The video conveys the message in such a beautiful & simple way. And the silhouettes just add to it. Awesome!

I love this video. I think it's profound, amazing & it tells a story. This actually brought a couple tears to my eyes. :D

The first time I watched it there was so much to take in that I wasn't paying attention to the very end. As soon as I really watched the end it definitely brought tears to my eyes.

It's very different from a lot of the other music videos out there. I think the style is very unique and well done. Some parts I didn't really care for. I do like it, but I will have to watch it a few more times before giving my opinion.

I liked it! There were a couple weird angles I think they could have improved but it was simple and striking. I did not want a war video but it was put together so nicely that I am not even bothered by it. I liked that it wasn't a modern war, which will make it less dated in the future.

Home seemed like they were trying to make a big budget video on a small budget instead of just embracing a simple interesting concept. Notbroken is a huge improvement for me.

I don't want to comment on the video because I haven't bought the album yet.. :(
