Goo Goo Dolls to perform at Mansfield University

The Goo Goo Dolls, along with special guest the Spill Canvas, will perform in concert at Mansfield University's Decker Gymnasium at 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 24.

Formed in 1986 in Buffalo, the Goo Goo Dolls had their first hit, "Name," in 1995 and has produced 17 top 10 singles.

The Goo Goo Dolls are touring in support of their ninth studio album, "Something For The Rest Of Us," which was release last month.

Tickets are $25 each for the general public and go on sale on Monday at the MU Campus Bookstore in Alumni Hall. Box office hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday or online, tix.com. All tickets are general admission.

Tickets for Mansfield University student are $10 each. Mountie Money will be accepted for student ticket purchases only. Student tickets will be available 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday in Alumni Hall, Room 324. Students must present ID to purchase their ticket.

The concert is sponsored by the Student Activities Office and is funded by student activity fees.
