I looked, I can't find that one though. There are about 46583 new GGD articles on Google News today for the 4th of July concert though.

I hate to say it, but I have really bad feelings about that concert. With all of the people angry that The Roots aren't headlining and half a million people potentially there, part of me fees like it's going to go really badly for the GGDs. I'll keep my fingers crossed though.

Agreed. :-/ It's a really awkward combination of acts, and the lack of overlap in the fanbases isn't going to help matters. Fingers crossed over here too.

And I've gotta say, the Roots put on a fantastic live show, so the hometown crowd is kinda justified in wishing they were headlining...

I hope it's not weird. Stupid people can make things a bad experience, for no reason. Why don't people ask them selves if being a bitch about something is really worth it, because the Goo's headlining it is no ones fault. Well you could say it's someone's "fault" but of course they are going to want to headline. RIDIC.

Anyone have any gossip about this show yet? I'm wondering how it all went down; I got a text from my friend in the Philly area who watched on tv and said that "John threw his guitar, they gave him the wrong one and he was pissed" ...which sounded mildly amusing but requires some explanation :P
