This is going to be brief for now. I'm super tired. It was a great show. They really rocked it out tonight. And John played the guitar ... A LOT!!! I'm so glad he's playing more. John was in a good mood. He was friendly and briefly chatty. Not too much talk though ... it was all about the music. Robby was his usual happy self.

The security were awesome at this show. Terri and I were in row H which was about 6th row on the side isle ... John's side. Tons of people kept trying to stand in the isles and take pictures or sneak to the front and everyone of them who tried it was escorted back to their seats. I LOVED that otherwise the isles would have been packed and I wouldn't have been able to see.

The venue was an old theater in downtown Ann Arbor. It was just beautiful and really ornate. It was a nice intimate venue.

I'm uploading my pictures now. Hopefully I can have some of them edited and posted soon. I know I got some great shots.

I've been reflecting on last night and I had such a great time. It was so fun to hang with Terri (Tripper) again. I hadn't seen her since the Freedom Hill show two summers ago. She had a meet and greet she'll have to share with you all. It's not my story to tell.

We were sorry Lauren and Tara couldn't make the show. We missed you guys. Hopefully we'll see you this summer. I find it funny that the Detroit DTE show was in our paper two weeks ago and still hasn't been confirmed. :-/

These are not my best pictures. I just couldn't seem to get my settings right. It was very frustrating. I ended up deleting more than half of my pictures as they were blurry. Here we go ...

DWG ... I love that one too. As soon as I took it I knew it was post worthy. Some pictures are just like that.

Lauren ... I love the sax too. One of the sexiest instruments ever.

I'm glad you're all enjoying the pictures.

Nicole ... I'm sorry. I totally should have given you a concert call. But I was all wrapped up in seeing Terri for the first time in 2 years and the excitement of the show. It didn't occur to me before hand to ask what song you'd like to hear. You were so nice to call me for Name. I felt bad that I didn't reciprocate.

Those pictures are awesome! I was scrolling through the pictures and for about a second I thought Robby was playing the sax haha. I was like "When did he learn to play that?" Then my brain kicked in. The show looked awesome! John looked great.

And you are right, the sax is sexy. And the bass.

Thanks. These really weren't my best. I was struggling to remember my low light settings all night.

I have a dumb question about GGD concerts. I'm going to my first one tomorrow night in Clive and I was wondering about the merchandise they have and when the best time to buy it would be? When I went to Third Eye Blind, I got a shirt before the show started. Should I do that for the Goo's too? And do they have shirts? I have a basic black one that I ordered online a few years back, but I'd like one in a color other than black.

In my opinion the best time to buy merchandise is before the show. I was just at a show last week. We were there relatively early and there was absolutely no line for merchandise. I think it tends to be a mad house during the opening acts and after shows ... if they haven't already packed up by then.

At the show I was at they had wide variety of t-shirts and a zippered hoodie sweatshirt. I'm trying to remember if there were other items like bags, etc. :-/

Merch - You have a better chance of getting what you want BEFORE the show, but if it's GA and you're aiming for a good spot, I would say to wait until after. �I don't buy a ton of merch, but I've never had something I wanted sold out after a show.

There are at least shirts, hooded sweatshirts, a necklace, keychains and wristbands. �T shirts range in price from about $30-40. �Hooded sweatshirts were $75.

I think most things in the GGD store are available at the shows.

The hoodie sweatshirt at the Ann Arbor show was $50. I almost bought it. I thought that was a fair price. I have an old block GGDs hoodie that's my favorite sweatshirt. So I almost got this one but I exuded control and walked away. ;D

Yes, well we Michiganders paid $80 for our tickets and everyone else got $40ish priced tickets. They probably took pity on us ;)

I paid $12 and drove 10 miles. :P

I'm contemplating spending $50 on a ticket and having to drive out of state for another show, I'm not sure if it's worth the driving and money.
