It appears he is. �They mention the acoustic tour before the song is played in the full IM video.

I still say an acoustic tour is not happening (unless it is as a promo tour for the new album where it is cheaper to send out just John instead of the whole band).

I liked this clip a lot. And I agree-- I doubt the solo tour will happen and if it ever will, it'll have to be later when the timing's better.

Yess. Or maybe he is just talking about one performance (for a tv or radio show possibly), where Robby and Mike can't/aren't going.

I finally had a chance to listen to this. Loved it. Sounds like it's going to be a great song. Of course what I loved most was the fact that John was wearing a Detroit sweatshirt ;D

If he does go out and do an acoustic type tour that will be beyond awesome. Acoustic sets are usually some of my favorites. I'll just be a big puddle of melty goo.

It's hard to say. If it does happen I'd guess it would be part of the radio/promotional tour. Those usually are smaller venues. But I've never had a hard time getting tickets before. If you join the IM I bet there will be presales or limited seats available to members. Of course this is all just speculation at this point.

I am still really loving this song. I am so excited for the new album! The hype/atmosphere feels a lot different this time around for some reason - I think its a good thing!

I haven't been on here for AGES. Crazy! Anyways just to say, thanks Nicole for the mp3 clip. ;D

I have to admit I hadn't been bowled over by the songs they've showcased so far (this is probably caused by me getting older and more into grumpy adult mode...:P) and I still feel a little bit of dread thinking about what the new album might hold...more Without You Here-type songs, nooo! HOWEVER I have found, since listening to the Nightmares&Dreams clip on Twitter, that even though I only listened to it twice, the lyrics keep floating into my head on random occasions, and each time my brain perks up in interest. This gives me a glimmer of hope for the new album.

This is a long-winded way of saying that, FINALLY, I am actually excited about the new album. And about time too....!!

You're welcome! I hope this doesn't seem too creepy, but I was thinking about you yesterday. I was searching for something on the board and one of your posts came up that linked to an animation you did and I was like 'wow, where did she go?!' It's funny to see you popped up the next day! :D

I've mostly avoided the sound clips of the new songs, but I was caught at a weak moment and listened to this one. I like The Sweetest Lie and As I Am WAYYY more than what I've heard of this one, but I've had it stuck in my head for days anyways. Hated LLI, so I'm excited to be excited about the new album.

Saz its funny that you say that, because I actually think Nightmares and Dreams is more of a Without You Here kindof song while As I am & The Sweetest Lie seem more a blend of DUTG, ABNG and GF - if that makes sense.

Oh, I am 18 now, joined when I was 13, which is crazy. I will have gone through all of my teen years and into adulthood all with WOG.. It's kindof poetic if you think about it.
