I was just thinking. John and Robby have never had a legitimate duet have they? Maybe I am wrong. I know they used to sing a lot together before in their live t shows, but I don't remember (I could easily be wrong) them having a real duet. That would be sweet - to hear them whip out some nice harmonies. Yes? No? Aha.

Yeah it would! Or even a duet with someone else. I have always wanted that. Like one with Sheryl Crow, Michelle Branch, Rob Thomas, Stevie Nicks or something like that. It would be so great.

I'm not a Fred D. fan, but I do love the version they did together.

Hmm. I've always gone back and forth on liking that version and not. I think the duet they did with Avril on Iris had the potentiol to be great (If Avril did some lower harmonies it would have been great), but her voice sounded different in that show or some reason. I love Avril, don't get me wrong - she is up there on the list of my favorites, she has amazing songwriting skills. But yeah, I feel like Avril and John could do a really amazing song together.

Their duets are why SSCW is slowly beating Gutterflower as favorite album for me, and I really wish they'd do duets again.

Those duets are absolutely why SSCW is my favorite album. There isn't a song on there I dislike. It's solid.

It is a great album. I think part of the reason it's so great is because its really only known among hard core fans.

I also think it's great because it's raw. It's not as raw as the previous albums. But it has solid substance and a certain rawness that people relate to. Each subsequent album since then has been more and more polished. I like them all for their uniqueness but SSCW is special. In fact, a great friend gave me an autographed (by all three) vintage SSCW t-shirt. It's my most prized Goo possession.

That is so amazing! I don't have any cool Goo stuff really. I still have my necklace from gutterflower though. I wore that everyday for a solid two years. Sadly, it is not with me now though, it's back home in my room hanging off my left bed post :(

I'll always have that though, I think.
