Title: Re: GGD Shuffle Setlist Post by Shannon on May 25th, 2009, 10:42am Ok....I'm more than willing to do this but I seriously need a tutorial. Seriously now ... don't laugh. I have iTunes and an iPhone for heavens sake but I just don't seem to really listen to music through either. I'm still a CD gal. So walk me through it. Do I just have to create a playlist with just Goo stuff and then just shuffle it? Is it really that easy or am I missing something. I said ... don't laugh. ;D |

Title: Re: GGD Shuffle Setlist Post by Shannon on May 25th, 2009, 10:51am Ok ... I think I did it right. I created a Smart Playlist and shuffled it. Here goes.... 1. Black Balloon (Greatest Hits) 2. Name (ABNG) 3. Big Machine 4. Naked 5. Name (Greatest Hits) 6. Two Days in February (vinyl) 7. On the Lie 8. Up Yours 9. January Friend 10. Black Balloon (DUTG) 11. Acoustic #3 12. Do You Believe in Him? 13. Stop the World 14. Let Love In 15. There You Are _______________ 16. Broadway 17. We'll Be Here (When You're Gone) 18. Up, Up, Up I should mention that I only have about 1/3 of my Goo stuff on iTunes. Like I said....I'm a CD gal. So this isn't a true representation of their catalog of work. |

Title: Re: GGD Shuffle Setlist Post by [Joelage] on May 25th, 2009, 7:04pm 6. Two Days in February (vinyl) So, you made a digital version of your Vinyl? how did it turn out? I've always wandered if it would be any good.... i guess it depends on the type of player you had? I dare not play any of my goo vinyls! |

Title: Re: GGD Shuffle Setlist Post by nmf016 on May 25th, 2009, 8:34pm 1. Two Days In February 2. 22 Seconds 3. Feel the Silence 4. Let Love In 5. Before It's Too Late 6. Laughing 7. It's Over (4th version from the GF remixes) 8. I'm Addicted 9. Acoustic #3 (LIB) 10. Close Your Eyes 11. Black Balloon (acoustic) 12. On Your Side 13. Just the Way You Are 14. Only One 15. Broadway 16. Know My Name 17. No Way Out 18. Eyes Wide Open (demo #3 on the ABNG demos) Ranking - Ummm, this would probably make a lot of fans pretty angry if it was a concert setlist, but I think it would be pretty hilarious. I don't know how it would go with George having to make a guest appearance... |

Someone posted the extended Two Days in February from vinyl on here a couple years ago. I don't have it handy right now, but I think it was a pretty decent conversion. |

Title: Re: GGD Shuffle Setlist Post by nmf016 on May 25th, 2009, 11:00pm You make my heart swell with pride when you say it would be a good setlist if you leave off all of the LLI songs. :D |

LMAO Forbes. You know I've had this vinyl song forever and never listened to it. I have no idea why either....probably lack of time and that I never listen to iTunes. I just listened to it now. I LOVE that I can hear the vinyl sound of it. It reminds me of listening to records when I was a kid. You can hear it ever so slightly spinning on the player as the needle scratches the surface. I also love that it's the 'howling like a dying Indian' version from the video I've seen. |

Title: Re: GGD Shuffle Setlist Post by Lamb_Chop on Jul 6th, 2009, 2:03pm First time poster here! I thought this looked like fun. 1. Name (Greatest Hits) 2. Big Machine 3. January Friend (Live In Buffalo) 4. Let Love In 5. Iris (Demo) (Greatest Hits 2) 6. So Far Away 7. Without You Here 8. On the Lie 9. January Friend 10. Smash (Live In Buffalo) 11. Stop the World 12. All Eyes on Me 13. Extra Pale 14. Ain't That Unusual (What I Learned...) 15. Acoustic # 3 (What I Learned...) ----- 16. Bullet Proof 17. Big Machine (Live In Buffalo) 18. Can't Let It Go Eh... While this list has some of my favorites (Stop the World and So Far Away), it, it doesn't have my favorite, which is Slide. I'll give it a 6 but only because of Stop the World. |

Title: Re: GGD Shuffle Setlist Post by Nicole on Jul 12th, 2009, 4:25pm 1) I Wanna Destroy You 2) Broadway 3) Slide 4) Flat Top 5) Acoustic #3 (EOAC version) 6) Only One 7) Dizzy 8) Better Days (Acoustic Version) 9) Big Machine 10) Think About Me 11) In Your Blood 12) Stay With You (iTunes Original Version) 13) Black Balloon 14) Strange Love 15) It's Over ------------------ 16) For Your Love 17) Cuz You're Gone with 1,000 Words 18) Fallin' Down I think it's a good mix of old and newer music. A few too many big hits, but that will make the casual fans happy. A few interesting covers on it. The last two songs are a great ending. I'd give it a 7. :) |

I like that setlist a lot! Stupid question though... The only version of Cuz You're Gone that I have that has 1,000 words in it is the Live in Buffalo version. Is there a studio recorded version of it that I can get somewhere? |

Title: Re: GGD Shuffle Setlisthttp://www.mediafire.com/?4 Post by Nicole on Jul 13th, 2009, 4:48pm There isn't a studio version, but I can upload one of the versions I have. I can't remember what show this is from, but it was already on my mediafire account http://www.mediafire.com/?4v4cejcejtj and here is just 1,000 Words (the dirty version)... http://www.mediafire.com/?1zdnlnnwwih Welcome! :) |
