The last info we've gotten is from 12/14/07, which was:

Well, I'm going to go by the official releases we've been given, since I haven't managed to find a single release date list showing GHV2 anywhere. �I'd love to see a 2/12 release date, but I kind of doubt it will happen, since it's less than six weeks away and we have no info, no promotion, and there is no source listed so we have no idea how credible it is...

I've done extensive searches as well and found no official information about the release of volume 2.

djgeneral......what is your source? Is it credible?

February 12 was the date that the label gave as the "try" date back in...October? or something like that.

To make it short: that was their goal.

seems like things will most likely be a bit delayed, but I would say no later than April for sure.

Hahaha, I think my brain would explode if that was the case. :P I think in the latest IM questions thingy, John did say something about Volume 2, thats it's going to be rare songs and not any of the hits. I wanted someone to whisper "Ego, Opinion, Art and Commerce" at that point to remind him, but ah well. Anyway, it sounded like they're still very much doing things with Volume 2, so I guess it's not been forgotten. I'm going to remain cautiously optimistic here.....

It's a long standing WOG joke that Dr. Ew/Drew/Shade/the blue O and so on knows Mike. He often refers to knowing Mike if he's doing a parody, being sarcastic or making a joke.
