Title: Re: Greatest Hits video clips on Warner Brothers Post by nmf009 on Nov 8th, 2007, 10:03am I love the video commentary more than I should. Someone somewhere should give John and Robby a show where they sit and watch things, laugh, and copy each other. Mike can be on it too, but he doesn't say anything. Iris video "We're in Los Angeles. It's pouring out." Slide video "We had to wet down the pavement. It never rains in Los Angeles." And Dave's Taxicab Confessions episode was totally on tv last night. I saw it on the tv guide channel and was like "Wouldn't it be funny if it was Dave's?". And it was. And Mike, you just made my day. Until someone says otherwise, I'm going to believe that you and I are responsible for trailer #2. |

Title: Re: Greatest Hits video clips on Warner Brothers Post by Shannon on Nov 8th, 2007, 1:52pm I love the video commentary too. They're so laid back and you can just see the many years of friendship between them. Thanks for the new trailer Mike. |

Title: Re: Greatest Hits video clips on Warner Brothers Post by mylondoncalling on Nov 11th, 2007, 5:33pm that was amazing. i totally agree that there should just be a johnny, robby, and mike show. mikes actually a really funny guy, like that pointless questions interview he did a while back. he should be more like that in front of the camera :) i'm going to try to youtube it somehow in case the site tries to take it down |

Title: Re: Greatest Hits video clips on Warner Brothers Post by nmf009 on Nov 11th, 2007, 7:22pm I remembered the short lived MTV show Artist's Cut today and dug up the Slide segment. Kinda funny to watch commentary from 9 years ago and from now. I'll post Iris if I can locate it as well. http://youtube.com/watch?v=DWeMaSXJrDs Edit: And Iris http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sOXulZCBKhU (I'm only leaving these up for a week or two, so these links will be dead eventually) |

Title: Re: Greatest Hits video clips on Warner Brothers Post by nmf009 on Nov 15th, 2007, 7:28pm More video commentary from the Goos. The following is Better Days, and you can also find Stay With You and Here is Gone. http://youtube.com/watch?v=t3rjFmX4tbQ&feature=PlayList&p=AF6A07D2F173E5E0&index=9 Love the Better Days commentary. I like the band shots in the video, but I HATE that video. Apparently the Goos aren't too fond either. The Here is Gone commentary is funny. Holy expensive video. Love watching them trying to identify the houses. I got a little worried it was going to go on the whole video. :D SWY has too much Glen Ballard ass kissing for me. Boo. |

Title: Re: Greatest Hits video clips on Warner Brothers Post by jetskiters on Nov 16th, 2007, 9:35am thanks for those videos nicole! :) i didn't want to talk about this but i'll have to throw it out there LOL someone over at another goo community is seriously disappointed that "pigeons were hurt" while making the Dizzy video and he/she no longer wants to be a fan. I might be wrong but I took it as a joke, I mean John just might have been sarcastic or something when he said "no one seemed to care". Is there any way this could be checked? :) |

Title: Re: Greatest Hits video clips on Warner Brothers Post by nmf009 on Nov 16th, 2007, 10:54am I love pigeons. I really do. But it's going a bit far to stop being a fan of the band. The band didn't kill the pigeons. Some driver did, and it's not like they did it intentionally. I think the "no one seemed to care" was directed at the people around them. Like, "oh God, we just accidentally killed some pigeons, are the people watching this video shoot going to have some sort of outcry? No. Good." It says a lot that John brought it up when he didn't have to. It either means he's a ruthless killer of small animals (unlikely) or that he was comfortable with bringing up an accident. |

Title: Re: Greatest Hits video clips on Warner Brothers Post by the frosty o on Nov 16th, 2007, 1:52pm Wow ... I love animals alot, but I think it's silly to get upset over a few pigeons that were killed accidently in the making of a music video. But to each their own I guess ... |

Title: Re: Greatest Hits video clips on Warner Brothers Post by Nicole on Nov 16th, 2007, 4:28pm Wow, I think that is taking it a little too far. Accidents happen. On Wednesday, I accidentally hit a squirrel while driving. I really felt horrible, but there was little I could have done to avoid hitting it. Later that night my friend and I were driving back from Portland and a deer walked in front of the car. We had to stop and wait as the deer went across the road, it wasn't in any kind of a hurry. RIP squirrel :( |
