A wise friend reminded me that the Goos are featured on Abbey Road this Thursday at 10pm on the Sundance channel.

I don't think I have Sundance either.

On the Goo Goo Dolls artist page on the Abbey Road site there's a couple clips and the interview. There's also a slideshow.

Click on "artists" and then scroll down to Goo Goo Dolls.

I have the channel on my downstairs tv, which annoys me because I have to record on vhs or drag my dvd burner downstairs, and I don't think I'm that crazy.

So... can we discuss this now that I've finally watched it?

The songs sounded okay. Let's discuss more shallow things. If you saw the whole show with the other performers, you would know the other 2 artists got dramatic lighting that was very flattering. The Goos got very unkind natural light and it looked like they were all sweating in a 120 degree room. And the other performers were all dressed up for their performances and at least John was dressed like he had just rolled out of bed (moreso than usual). I felt like I was watching two different shows.

Yeah I noticed that with the lighting too...most unflattering...it was really hard and cold
