So my friend Jamie says this was a "you had to be there" moment, but I am going to share it anyway and hope for some laughs.

We traveled from Boston to Buffalo for the Darien Lake show, driving all night.  We had contacted a friend who we wanted to meet for lunch.  She suggested one place and asked us to drive by and check the hours.  So we pulled up in front of the place, and weren't able to see any hours on the door but we did see a bus across the road from us.  We sat there for a few minutes consulting my GPS to see if there was any good shopping around as we needed to kill a couple of hours before lunch given that it was only 10 AM.

As we were sitting there, John walks up to the bus and tries not once, not twice, but three times to get in before being successful.  It was hilarious.  I am thinking I agree with Jamie it was a "guess you had to be there" moment.

I'm confused.

Did he try 3 times to actually lift himself up on the first step?  Or do you mean he had to knock 3 times to get someone to open it for him?  Because one of those scenarios is way funnier than the other.  :D

He tried 3 times to unlock the bus, with little success.  It was certainly a sight.  (hey, John they changed the locks and neglected to tell ya...)

Well, you wouldn't have seen me ... since I wasn't there ... because I'm an idiot ... nothing at ALL like Holly's friend that she met for lunch.  She's brilliant!

Yeah big crowds always seem to thwart the effort to find people, which sucks.  Wish we could have met up with you.

I'm jealous that you and your other Philly friend see and talk to each other frequently too.  (At least more frequently than I've seen or talked to her, that is ...)  :'(
