Title: Goo Goo Dolls To Play Longer? Post by djgeneral on Jul 28th, 2007, 1:55pm Colbie just posted this on her MS Unfortunately I won't be at the Goo Goo Dolls show in Detroit on August 26th. I have to fly back to L.A. to perform on the Tonight Show (more details on that later!) but we'll make it back to Detroit real soon. Ugh! I was actually kind of excited for her. I've been listening to her CD! So...will they add another band? Will the Goos play longer? Will Lifehouse? Or nothing? I'm new to the whole concert things...so when someone cancels what do they normally do? |

Title: Re: Goo Goo Dolls To Play Longer? Post by DWG on Jul 28th, 2007, 11:45pm My guess is they might let Lifehouse play longer. We went to a show last year where the Counting Crows were supposed to open, but the singer was not feeling well. The Goo's played a longer set to make up for it. |

Title: Re: Goo Goo Dolls To Play Longer? Post by Shannon on Jul 29th, 2007, 9:57am I heard her in Muskegon and she really didn't do much for me either. I'm not upset she won't be there at Freedom Hill. I'd love a longer set from both Lifehouse and Goo. I really, really liked Lifehouse. These two bands are very well matched on the road. |

Title: Re: Goo Goo Dolls To Play Longer? Post by djgeneral on Jul 29th, 2007, 10:24am Well hell yeah I would want Lifehouse or Goo more than her, but if they aren't adding anyone else or extending LH or Goo, I'm sad... |

Title: Re: Goo Goo Dolls To Play Longer? Post by Shannon on Jul 29th, 2007, 10:36am I'm sure one or both of them will extend their setlist a bit. But there's no way to know for sure until we get there. |

Title: Re: Goo Goo Dolls To Play Longer? Post by djgeneral on Jul 29th, 2007, 1:45pm It is probably too much to hope it will be the Goos, but I would still be happy with Lifehouse. Maybe they will get a local band from Michigan? |
