Alt-rockers the Goo Goo Dolls have revealed that they have put together a shiny new song that will be included on the soundtrack for the forthcoming Transformers film.

The new tune is called �Fiction,� and marks the first time since �Iris� and the movie City Of Angels that the �Dolls as a whole have done a song specifically for a soundtrack.

If you�re interested, Alternative Addiction has the song available for streaming. The soundtrack hits shelves on June 26th, and the flick opens on July 4th.

Thanks for posting that Shannon. This marks the first time I've heard the song.

Verdict?

Still out on this one.

I like the lyrics more than 99% of what's on LLI, but I really wish someone would tell John that a 'love song' doesn't have to be a slow tempo number. I guess I'm just really, really, really hungry for some new, UPTEMPO Goo. :-/
