Wow..they sounded great! Almost as good as last weekend  ;)..lol...But yeah...great performance..

On a side note..anybody else find it completely hilarious how John was checkin' out Naomi's ass!? He was so blantant about it too! lol

Overall reaction?  Kinda "meh".  I just want John to keep his hands on the guitar.  That's all I want.  People who don't know the band and only see a performance like that must think he's a pretty frontman with no actual guitar talent or an excellent voice (because I don't think that was a earth shattering vocal performance).  

On the upside?  There was a shirt underneath the jacket.  Yay.

Wasn't enough "rest of the band" love, so no comments about them...

I thought the performance was good. The studio's sound can sometimes be way off but I thought it was good last night.

John was so checking out Naomi's ass. It was so blatant. I couldn't believe my eyes.

I personally was a little disappointed. They didn't sound their best and I thought John AND Mike were a little "sophomore-ish" for checking Naomi out so blatantly  :shakehead: Just My Opinion!!

P.S. Is anyone else finding it a little disappointing that they are offering general admission tickets in the pre-sales? What kind of benefit is THAT to members?  :Eva:

I totally agree with you on this. I wish he would play the guitar more. Not only do I enjoy hearing/watching him play but I think he looks kinda silly with his hands flying all over the place and the guitar hanging around him like a necklace.

Other than that, I thought they did a great job. That's not one of my fav GOO songs. I've seen them around 5 times since LLI came out and I don't think John always does a good job with the vocals on that song, but he did last night.

....maybe her skirt was caught in her undies....I mean it could happen, but on television, you'd be a lot more discreet about that kind of thing.

i totally agree with you about the guitar thing.  he's a wonderful guitar player, he needs to show off those skills!  plus i think he looks a little uncomfortable when he's not playing. . .or maybe it just makes me uncomfortable cuz he's just floppin' all over the place. . .

when i first watched it and he checkin' out naomi, i'm thinking, "doesn't he know there is an audience and cameras?"  but then again, i'm sure he knew there was an audience and cameras, that was the point of the whole thing. . . ;D

I was flipping through the channels again today and I totally caught the beginning of the show again on Star! Network, which is the equivalent to your E! Network I think...

I don't know if this tidbit has been posted so I will write it here:

If you missed the show you can watch the re-run on NBC the following week or in two weeks from the date of air. I don't remember if it was 1 or 2 weeks later...sorry about that. But it's on after network programming like 2am or 3am. I know this for sure because I missed the Ross the Intern thing and I called NBC to ask if it will air again.

I just watched over at the Goo's website, I thought it was a really good performance...I thought John sounded pretty good- not as rough or as deep as he has done recently lol
