Doesn't work for my Dell Craptitude D620. Can anyone say what they said?

And does anyone know how to make my Quicktime work again? I have the latest version but nothing plays and I always get the stupid Q symbol.

*coughs*youneedamac*coughs*

Hmm, that's odd, did you try clicking on  the Q? To see what that would do? Thats what I have to do sometimes..or maybe that's just me...

It worked fine on my Dell Inspiron.
They talked about being around for so long. Were around for 7 years before anything happened, considered quitting. They talked about the origins of the bands. "Had more spirit than brains at the time" They wanted to sell out the Continental.
Talked about how they broke up and one point. Mike talked about touring and staying busy. They loved touring for a year and a half, they are greatful for being able to do it.
Then they sang an acoustic version of Let Love In.

I could ... but you'll have to wait a few hours (at work), at which point someone else will probably for you.  But if no one does, I most certainly will. :)

You know I'd do it for you if I could. This is a super busy week with us leaving for vacation on Friday. Trying to remember everything and get everything done is crazy. I'm giving cookies away to some of my friends for gifts so today is cookie making day.

Better watch out for the Cookie Monster in that other thread. I hear he likes cookies, although they are a sometimes food now apparently.

How would you make an audio for that? I don't think my laptop has the right programs.

I would use my nifty little Audacity program. You can record anything that's playing on your speakers at the time. Once it's recorded you can convert it to a wav or mp3 format. It's the greatest program!!! What's even better is that you can download it for free ....

Here you go.
It's good for 14 days or 500 downloads, whichever comes first. :)
And I even did a nice fade out at the end of the song. ;D

Thanks Shannon
Two questions, I'm trying to figure out how to do it.
How do you record just what is playing on the computer and not all the background noise?
How do you save it as a MP3, It said I need to download LAM encoder, so I did that and I still couldn't get it to save. I was able to save it as a WAV with no problems
Thanks!

If you want it to record what's coming out of your speakers only you have to set it to "wave out mix". There's a little pull down screen in the middle of the screen next to the microphone volume. That's where you select 'wave out mix'.

If you want to save it as an mp3 or wav file you have to export it. Go to 'file' then 'export as mp3' or 'export as wav'. Since you already downloaded the extra file it should work now. You don't really 'save' it. You 'export' it. I hope this helps you.

Thanks! I was able to export as a WAV but I wasn't able to export as a MP3, I will have to mess around with it later when I have more time.
