Title: Goos to perform benefit concert in Cleveland Post by Shannon on Nov 9th, 2006, 12:03pm The Goo Goo Dolls to Perform Benefit Concert in Cleveland Proceeds Will Go to a Scholarship at Ball State University BURBANK, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- November 09, 2006 -- The Goo Goo Dolls will perform a very special benefit concert at the House of Blues in Cleveland, OH on December 6th to raise money for the Rebecca Reichert Scholarship, which has been established at Ball State University. Reichert, a music educator who graduated from Ball State, was a personal friend of the band's drummer Mike Malinin. She died of cancer in October at the age of 24. Before her passing, Reichert created the scholarship in hopes of providing full tuition to music education majors. All proceeds will go directly to the family of Rebecca Reichert for her scholarship account. Please join us for this special and important event. Tickets for the show go on sale this Saturday, November 11 through Ticketmaster and will be priced at $40 and $50. It says that the balcony is reserved seating. However, when I went to get tickets, it just gave the section of the balcony and not the rows or the seats. Do you have to scramble for seats in the balcony too?? |
