Here's what he had to say about the Goos show. �Reader beware .... it's way harsh. :pissed: I'm getting so tired of critics bashing the Goos. My bet is that he's never seen them play live. :drummer: :jammin: :guitarist:

Last is definitely least at Summerfest this year. The festival�s final day boasts Summerfest�s most spectacularly unspectacular Marcus Amphitheater headliner, Goo Goo Dolls and Counting Crows. And the side stages are worse. Seriously, Jackyl? Poi Dog Pondering? Buckwheat Zydeco? Nothing against those bands, but they aren�t Summerfest headliners. They are future guests on �Where Are They Now

Here's what I had to say to "Mr." Hyden:
WOW! You've obviously never seen the Goos live... They have more talent in their pinky finger than you could HOPE to have - EVER! I'll send you my review upon my return. >:(

I don't expect a response, but it made me feel better....

Why would u guys get offended and bother? I would worry if nobody gave the Goo's a bad review. He probably meant it, but we feel differently, just as how there are music out there that we think suck while others love it.

I remember in "Behind the music" when I think John said something like "wow, if this guy thinks we suck so bad...imagine how many others would think how great we are". Just comes with the territory.

I just think people have no right commenting about something they have never experienced (meaning the editor seeing the Goos live) or any of the other acts that day.

That would be like me writing an article about the "dangers" of bungee jumping- which I have never done; or seeing HIS fave act live and telling everyone (in print) they sucked.

Just my opinion...
