If you ever win one dont go in thinking you'll be spending long sessions with the lads but they come along and you meet them have a bit of a chat, we asked for autographs and Johnny was like "hell ye lets do em" seurity went mental witht he band :S Started saying no to Johnny and it was well weird coz it made it seem Johnny actually wanted to be doing more for the fans at these events. For me it was ace though coz getting to meet them ive wanted to do for soo long, especialy Johnny coz I respect him so much. Only thing is afterwards he seemed to remember me on stage and kept winking and smiling at me, I thought it was my imagination but the crowd gave me weird looks then after asked why he was lol |

All happened very quickly but the guys were very gracious. Gotta say that you're constantly aware that the next group are waiting to come in / the management want to take the photo but the band themselves were great. Shaun: Where did you have your M&G - it sounds like you had a great one ;D |

I went to their show at the Naval Academy about two years ago in October. it was a very small crowd and we waited out side near their bus for about 2 hours in the freezing cold and there were only about 5 of us left when they finally came out. They didnt even stop to say hi or wave to us. They just go right on the bus. We were so devasted......and frozen. It's not like there was a mob of us waiting. :-[ |

I think these bigger venues are such busy events, that the time just isn't there. So I have no high expectations on the M&Gs. I do hope I win at least one of the 2 shows though. Just to be in the same room with them is a prize in itself. It's like it's intoxicating or something. ::) |
