Ok this is random, but has anyone else noticed when Robby plays at gigs he has no shoes? At Brixton he had none and Bristol and just watching Top of the pops (did anyone watch it btw?) he had none on then. Tis amusing. I do love Johns huge trainers

Hehe yeah, :D. �I think he always does! For ages now.....i noticed that at the astoria gig too, and if you watch the goo's live in buffalo dvd he isn't wearing any then aswell!

I noticed on the CBGB photos I posted he isn't wearing any there either.. must be something he started a long long time ago and now made into a ritual...

It is something that Robby has done for a long time. Sometimes he wears socks, sometimes goes barefoot onstage. Maybe it's for comfort, or maybe just a good luck ritual!

By the way, what are trainers? Sneakers? I never noticed if John has particularly big feet.

Robby doesn't wear shoes when he plays live because he likes to feel the vibrations of the bass on his feet.

Maybe his feet smell and he dont wana ruin his shoes? hehe sneakers :P thats amusing.
