As you may or may not know for the last four years or so we've been collecting messages for the "Bring the Goos to Europe Campaign" and we are obviously delighted that the campaign has now ended!

We wanted to do something special with the messages and so compiled a booklet, printed off every single message (over 30 pages worth!) and enlisted the help of Saz and Vanessa from this board in designing a front cover. Vanessa kindly supplied photos from The Astoria gig in 2002 and Saz designed the amazing front cover, even tracking the band's route through Europe as you'll see...

We put it all together, popped them in some gift bags and managed to hand them over to each band member at our meet & greet in Birmingham. They were all very gracious, said thank you and the bags were later seen on stage by a friend being carried off at the end of the night!

So... if you ever left a plea with us as to why you wanted Goo Back in Europe, your message is now with the band - we wanted to pass them on after you'd all taken the trouble to write, and also say thanks to the band / show the Goos how much it's meant to so many people to see them back over here.

WOW ... that is really great! It looks like alot of time and effort went into that. I bet the guys loved it. Thanks for sharing the pics with us.

Woot, thanks for putting the piccies up guys, it's nice to see how the whole thing looks when it's printed! ;D I'm so pleased it turned out well, I'll just bask in the reflected glow...:P

Seriously, it was a lovely thing for you to do, and I'm sure they all appreciated it hugely. Plus it should give them an extra incentive to come back again! Thanks for taking the time to print it all out and put it into the pretty packaging and make it look nice for them. :thumbsup:
