Hi everyone. Things have gotten very complicated for WOG and I thought it would be time to share some of it with you all. When Eva left this board and the WOG site to me, I had full intentions to update WOG with the help of MFC. However, in the past few months MFC has more or less stopped communicating with me and it looks like WOG may be at a standstill. However, myself and Eva have decided the board should continue for everyone who wants it to continue.

I have asked Shannon to become the operator of this board because she's been here a long time, knows a lot about the Goos, and has probably wished each one of you a Happy Birthday. I trust she will do very well giving this board the facelift it needs and that she will keep this board the wonderful community that it is.

So please welcome Shannon as an operator of WOG.

I just wanted to say a quick HI to everyone. I know it seems weird to have so many changes lately but have no fear I plan on going no where....I've been here too long ... it's like home.

I'm going to be updating the board soon so be looking forward to a brand new look. If anyone has any suggestions let me know. Also, if anyone would like to submit banners please feel free to do so as soon as we get a new color scheme. I know many of you are extremely creative so I can't wait to see what you all come up with.

I remember a thread posted at the beginning of the year that said MFC was leaving. I don't know if there was just the one MFC, but if there was, I think he left way back then. Here's a link to that thread:

Anyway, welcome to Shannon, and looking forward to the updates & such. We would love to see the board continue!

I agree with you DWG. The site is nice but the board is special because of the people. I want it to continue too. So I'm going to do my best to make sure that it does. I know alot of people who still consider coming here as "home base" and so do I.

Adela gave me the master skin/template to the board. I've been playing with it all afternoon. As soon as I get it the way I want it I'll put it up.

Wow, I dont check into WOG for a couple days, and i pop in tonight and Shannon is moderator! Thats awesome! I am really excited and look forward to whatever you have in store for us! Congrats :)

Shannon, thanks for stepping up to run the board. I'm sure it's not an easy task.

I don't post here as much as I used to, but I still visit on a regular basis. I've met a lot of friends on this board, and I'd hate to see it "go away".
