The format to IM is nearly identical to WOG, although IM is easier on the eyes. However, I'm still biased toward WOG, mainly because it would sadden me to see it die.

yeah, WOG is by fans and fansites are always better. That's why sites like youtube are so great. No company in the world can do that alone. Free always attract ppl.

hey! i would've been all over getting paid, nmf :-[

fan sites are always the best cause you usually have someone there that's looking out for the band and the fans... therefore more care is being put it into things.

Pre-sale tickets as much as they would during regular sales...and ticket prices probably also varies a little from venue to venue.....I bought 3 of the higher priced tickets for the show here in albuquerque at a little over $67 each through presales.....

The Oneida Casino show didn't have a pre-sale and the tickets were only $25. (no CC either <-- :thumbsup: )The Summerfest (Milwaukee show) tickets were $35. It sounds like I pretty much lucked out. Presale is definitely cheaper. When purchasing through ticketbastard there's at least $10 per ticket added to the ticket price in service charges.

It looks like the shows without CC have more reasonable ticket prices. $35 seems more like the Goo shows I'm used to paying for.

I understand the ticket prices are doubled because it's a double bill ... but I don't like it. I'll probably only see the one in town show just because it's too much to pay for the show and the price to travel to out of town shows.

It has been quiet here lately but I have seen a few names posting that haven't been around in awhile. That's always a good thing. I popped in here earlier and there were 45 guests on :o ... that was surprising.

I'll always be biased towards WOG. Inner Machine is pretty cool, but I don't like the format of their boards. It seems like there is way too much going on and a lot of posts about the same topic in five different locations.

I like this board better.

I post on both but this one is just more familiar and feels like home.

And though I paid the freakin' $30 to join the other one, I don't like them charging the fans for that.

Even though I haven't posted here in ages, :-/ I like WOG better...it just feels like home. It was the first fansite I joined so it will always be special to me. IM is ok but it's just sooo big and some topics are posted multiple times in different places so it isn't as user friendly.

Here is definately better. IM is wayy to hectic and my word some people dont half argue. Seen some guy put up his version of stay with you and the guy was ripped to shreds! Much more cosey here.

I feel that people here are more respectful of one another, and here we are treated as equals. We can disagree on things, yet still co-exist on the same forum without dissing each other.
