Can you tell me exactly how the fan club works. I am thinking about joining to try and get tickets for Atlanta. Do they let you know ahead of time when they sale the tickets and you try on-line like ticketmasters for the best sets? Or is it a lottery. Anyway please help me understand, Jay.

They give you the name of the Venue and the date....then they list the date of presale which usually begins on Wednesdays 10am local time to venue and ends on Fridays. They then also give the date of the regular sale date and then in the same area is where you would enter for the lottery for the MnG which usually won't begin until week prior to the venue. The preslae is only avail to IM members and you have to enter Inner Machine and click the link to get to the presale. FOREWARNING if you purchase a presale you are being promised some of the best seats in the house.... IM gets 4% of whatevers left after the In house held seats. Just be forewarned that IM does NOT have their seating assignments yet. So when you purchase you will not know where you're sitting until you pick up the tix which will be held for you at the will hold office the day of show. (unless more info is made avail about seating prior to then) Lots and lots are pissed about this.....I for one have complete faith in this system.
When I purchased my venue at NH it said I had floor which is good seats...I just don't know where on floor I am...I'm guessing it will be good ones since the price was 83.00 (that includes the fee of 3$) The IM is getting alot of negetivity right now due to this and they are working on rectifying the probs.... I think joining pays for itself.... virtually all members from all forums are in there and chatting and posting and theres almost daily posts from the band in the Blog and there are almost daily pics in the MOBLOG....which you can add comments to their pics which has gotten pretty funny at times.... I love it there..... There's just way to much bitchin goin on right now in the forum....which is why I havn't really posted much yet.
Anyway hope that helps anyones inquistions about joining....my advice... do the presale and have faith in the band....they have promised we WILL have some of the best seats avail for the price. Plus being able to see what they are doing everyday is awesome. The M&G rules are you must have a ticket to the venue you may enter each venues lottery only once and are allowed only 2 wins per year to the MnGs. The M&G winning is for you and you alone. No autographs no pics. A pic will be taken with the band and posted on IM. I'm only saying all this to all of you who are thinking of joining as a warning..... I'm soooo sick of the bitching over there and if my posting this avoids anymore bitching then thats one less thread I have to read about a complaint.
