Title: a very long week of goo...comes to an end Post by JRMaholic on Apr 29th, 2006, 11:06am MONDAY at the Avalon was awesome. I think they played very well and they all looked so happy. I had this drunk woman who kept yelling stuff to them and just ruining the songs since she did not know the words. I even saw john giver her a weird look and therefore he never came to that side of the stage again. Anyway its just not fair for people who really want to be there for the music and not to get trashed. After the show, a friend and I made our way to times square to grab something to eat and then head to virgin and check out the wrist band situation. We were just walking and Robby and Miyoko walked right infront of me it was so strange. So we stopped chatted. (For anyone upset that he just "left" the venue....it was his wifes birthday. give the guy a break) he told me how they just came from the store and bought some CD's, which was just so adorable. well you guys know if you read the blog.... TUESDAY...Let Love In came out, i was smiling all day WEDNESDAY...while waiting on the line the girl (danielle) on the cover came over and was talking to some of us. She is a sweet girl. I aksed her if she was a goo goo dolls fan before she did this and she said not really she knew their songs and ofcourse now she is a fan! lol She signed for people and took pictures. She is only 20 yrs old. It is just nice, she seems like a genuinely nice girl, Im really happy for her. She said it has been a dream of hers to do a music video so after the she did the 13 hr shoot for the CD they asked about the video and she was thrilled. Monday night was her first time meeting the band and she said everyone was extremely nice to her...at WB and everything. She showed me the picture of her with them which is now up on the inner machine. I was directly infront of John for the performance, he kept laughing and smiling a lot whish was cute. My favorite on the new CD is BECOME...and they keep playing it which is soo soo great! When they signed.. Robby gave me a hug and he asked me if i saw his special hello he left for me (he gave me a shout on in the blog ;)) just so adorable, he is truly amazing. Mike was very talkative as well, I didnt realize but Johnny was just staring at me waiting for me to come over to him and i was like "Hi darling" and he goes "Hi darlin" and smiled at me. ofcourse i asked for a hug and we talked a bit. Danielle from the cover, had them sign the huge promo banners for her. I later saw her and she was like heyy how did you like it?! lol she is so cute. THURSDAY...I agree with everyone else the sound of Conan was so awful, and John looked weird without a shirt underneath. FRIDAY...me and my friends were in the second row of regis and kelly on the stage side right infront of the band. They sounded amazing, im not sure if it is because we heard it in person? but it really sounded well. During the commercial kelly went over and was talking to Johnny- me and Kristen(ProzacGoo) wanted to get his attention to take a picture with us...so we were screaming to him. Kelly was like "girls im trying to get a date with johnny stop!!" (joking around) and then she was like "see those two girls in the second row on the end, they want to devower you!!" and he laughed and waved and that was that. After the show they didnt come out to sign or anything they drove away. Which kind of sucked but i figured they probably wanted to go home..since Buffalo was the next stop :) so a long week filled of goo comes to an end. I guess ill wait a few months to see the boys again.... LET LOVE IN can hold us all over --candice |
