Title: Re: TOUR DATES (now official) Post by betty on Apr 22nd, 2006, 3:34pm thank GOO, some florida dates, tampa for sure i'll be there. it's sad, i just moved back to my state of florida from new jersey and there are many more dates in that area. oh well i'm still better off back in the south 8), i only left 6 years ago, moved to kansas than to new jersey the cold almost did what the stroke couldn't do kill me. but i'm alive in my favorite state. lets see i've meet them once seen three GOO shows, if i can stay kind of well, i could see them in west palm beach, atlanta ga. and tampa. total of six goo shows i could die a happy lady. wish me luck, you all :) |

I remember going there when they opened for Bon Jovi and it was the longest drive to get there - practically to West Virginia! I just hope I can get under the shed. Tickets will be God-awful expensive, too. Perhaps they'll play Merriweather Post Pavillion some other time. I like that venue much better since my aunt and uncle live 10 minutes from there and I can stay with them overnnight. I really prefer Warner Theatre downtown like when they toured with Five For Fighting - smaller venue and easier to get to - Metro available and no car needed. Those days are gone. It kills me that this is a huge area and they are only performing here once and it's in the boonies - not even near the beltway. Heck, they're playing at least 3 venues in PA (Scranton, Philly and Hershey) but nothing more in the nation's capital. Shows what a crummy music city DC is. No radio promos, either, since only 1 station plays them here. |

Pittsburgh and Buffalo are on weekends, but those are my two weekends of the month to work, too!!! :darkcloud: But at least the weekend of the Pittsburgh show is my ex-husband's visitation weekend - so it may happen! But it's going to be sooooo hard to only see them three times at most - last tour I saw them 9 times!!! Oh, BTW......... Hopefully it gets listed for you soon on Ticketmaster. I guess they just haven't put it up yet for some reason. |
