alright, i don't go out buying these kinds of magazines. . .my mom does, i just read em!! ;) anyway. . .Goo is in the May 1st issue with Jennifer Aniston on the cover; 3 page article. the interview takes place at an LA restaraunt and they have pics of the place and the food recipies. most importantly, there is a full page pic of the guys and one small one with the chef. give me a little bit and i'll type up what i deem, "the interesting stuff". . . ;D

alrighty. . .

the first bit is a mini bio:  who, what, where.  then they talk about recording in NY with Glen Ballard and Better Days used for the Hurrican Katrina Relief campaign, African hunger relief and the show Miracle works.  stuff i like:

Are the crowds different from country to country?
Robby:  Totally.  In Japan they bow alot!  The German crowds are really loud.  In Europe everybody smokes, so I'm always thinking, "If I don't get out this club in 20 minutes I'm coming down with lung cancer!"

It must be a alot cushier touring these days then it was back in the 80's.
John:  It's much nicer to be in a big bus as opposed to a crappy van.
Robby:  Plus, I'm sober now, so I'll actually remember everything!  [laughs]

then they talk about doing charity for USA Harvest, last tour they raised one million meals and Rzeznik is auctioning off his 1967 GTO Hard Top.

John:. . .I never drive it, so the money that's made is going to Habitat for Humanity to help buy someone a house in New Orleans.  That's better than me driving around and destroying the ozone!  [laughs]

Finally, you guys seems like foodies.  Have you been to Campanile (the restaraunt) before?
John:  I love this place, and the La Brea Bakery, which is part of the this restaraunt, has put out cookbooks that I've used.
Mike:  We brought John here for his birthday a couple of years ago.
Robby:  We even hired a mariachi band to serenade him, but the staff wouldn't let them in.  So they stood on the sidewalk and played 'La Cucarach" over and over.  [laughs]

end article. . . ;D

the full page picture is of all 3 of them sitting at a table with their food smiling for the camera.  the other is of them in the kitchen with the chef.  i tried to scan them, but my scanner is pretty much dead now. . .maybe if someone buys it, they can post the pic here. . . ;D
