Hey everyone!

I've been so busy the last few days and my head is still spinning from meeting the guys, I haven't been able to post here!! ;D

I won tickets to the 92PRO FM exclusive concert in Providence, RI last Wednesday morning. I went to the radio station that afternoon and picked up my tickets! :nanner:

I got in line at The Century Lounge for the show on Thursday at 6:30pm, doors opened 7:20pm, and the show began around 8:00pm. There must have been around 150 fans in the small intimate club. There was so much excitement in the air, we couldn't wait till the guys came out. When they were escorted to the stage and took their places, we saw the new replacement band members right away, they all got along great! 8)

They opened with "Stay With You" and it sounded so strong and incredible. Robby and John did alot of interacting with the crowd - they promoted the new album, told everyone the release date, asked a few fans what they had to do to win tickets, and did a little talking in between each song - Robby spoke of all the small clubs in RI they had played years and years ago before they made it big, asked if anyone remembered...they truly took the time to talk to their fans between songs, it was wonderful! ;)

John wore a black tee and his green army jacket, and Robby wore a black henley tee, and Mike wore a black tee as well. They had a blast playing the new material - and at one point, John said he knows these songs are all new for us and we dont know them yet, so he said to just look cool and move out mouths and pretend to sing along, it was so funny! :woohoo:

They played a total of 9 songs for us:

It was so amazing hearing all the new songs, and right after Broadway, John said thank you guys for coming out tonite, youve been an amazing audience. Robby said we love you guys, thanks so much for everything, and we'll see you real soon - and they exited the stage quickly and everyone thought they were coming back out for an encore, but the lights came on and you knew the show was indeed over. It felt like a flash of about 5 min, we couldnt belelive how fast the time went by! :rockin:

Everyone started leaving, many went to the bar and bought another drink/beer and hung out there, and a few of us hung around near the stage for a bit and watched the roadies break down 8)

We were 3rd row for the show, and when we could get closer to the stage, my friend asked for a setlist and a roadie gave her John's - so I went over to the other roadie that was packing Johns Les Paul guitar at the time, and asked if I could please have Mike's [someone had already gotten Robbys] and he gave it to me with a huge smile and said here you go! I was so excited and so grateful to have the setlist, I hugged it close to me as we walked outside smiling away! :cucumber:

When we got outside, there were sooooooo many peoople leaving, hardly anyone waited for them to come out, I was so surprised. I'd say we were about 20 people the most on the sidewalk near the tour buses [there were about 10 security guys in total near the buses taking care of everything]. About 20 min later, John comes off the bus and one girl called him and said she wanted a picture taken with him, and he said we'll take them afterwards when we come back out - they were going in for the meet & greet, it took place after the show which I thought was weird, thats almost always done beforehand.

So, we waited for about another 20 min, and by that time, almost half the people waiting had left. We were about 10 fans total still waiting, and sure enough, Mike walks right out to us with the security guys! He was so tall and so quiet, very sweet. I asked if he would sign my setlist which was his by the way, and he smiled so much and said sure why not! Then he took a pic with me, I hugged him and told him it was so nice to meet him and wish him alot of luck with the new album! :claps:

About 5 min later, Robby comes running out to us, and opens his arms and says "lets do it, lets take some pics" he was in such a good mood, he was smiling and joking and laughing the whole time with us. I ran up to him and said I love you Robby, and he said I love you too! I asked if he could sign my setlist and he said how about I sign it right here for my song, and he drew an arrow pointing to his song "Listen" and I said aww, thats so cool! He grabbed me close, squished me, and took a pic smiling from ear to ear with me. He had those awesome rainbow dreads for the show that were flying everywhere, even covering his face at times, but when he came out, he had all his hair pulled back in a ponytail, had his glasses on and a black hat, and he was just so kind, polite, and funny, he made you feel so comfortable and was truly a pleasure to meet! :jammin:

A few more people were still meeting with Robby as I saw John come walking out with security. He was now wearing a black jacket over the tee, and I quickly ran over to him and about 6 girls beat me to it, so I waited my turn. Once they were done, he looked right at me and walked towards me and my god his eyes are so blue and gorgeous! I ran to him and as I hugged him, I kissed him and told him how much I loved him and that I had waited 11yrs to meet him - and he said aww, I love you too and now you don't have to wait anymore darlin' - and he held me in his arms as I cried. It was such a touching moment, and he was so endearing, everyone around us said aww and smiled! :love:

My friend took a pic of him holding me, and I can honestly say he is absolutely amazing, so sincere, so loveable, and good hearted. I told him I wished him all the luck in the world with the new album and tour and he thanked me so much, he said that meant alot to him. He signed my setlist, and then I asked if I could have a pic with him and he said of course, absolutely! :faint:

I couldnt be happier, I feel like I'm on cloud 9, my dream has come true, all I do is walk around and tell everyone, I met my Goo! :love: lol

We even met some fans while waiting, and exchanged email addys, and have written eachother already and said we'd meet up at shows, etc... :thumbsup:

aww!! lucky gal! sounds like you had an awesome time and the guys seem very excited to be sharing the new music. . .thanks for the review! after reading all these reviews, i can't wait for the tour dates so i can get my own chance to see them in action. . . ;D

Wow, that's an amazing story and a well deserved experience for you - you've obviously waited a long time for that moment!

Ah wow......you're so lucky! That's really great you got to meet the guys!....Is jealous! lol. Well done on winning the tix! That's a great story, i can only just imagine how exciting the day must have been for you! :D
