hey guys if there was one bright spot to working on earth's version of hell (walmart) htis weekend it was this morning :) they started showing the promo's for the goo's soundcheck. i think it said they were showing it tomorrow @ 7pm b ut it might be the 28th. it brightened up my otherwise crappy easter weekend.

maybe some shoppers can answer this for me? why does it no matter which holiday it is everyone wait till the 11th hour to buy stuff?

I completely understand your question about people waiting until the last minute. In high school I worked as a florist in the bggest grocery store and always had to work super late on holidays and the closer it was to that holiday's dinner time, the more people there were in the store.

And, to keep this on topic, I think the original press release said the Goo's soundcheck thingy would be available 4/25

No, I guess I am a thief. There is only one, and it is right near where the TV that plays the clips are with the new CD releases.

I'm gonna try to swipe that black sign that just has the text goo goo dolls 4/25 from the upcoming releases board as well.

I used to work at a Foley's in Texas, and over a weekend they have a tax free weekend...those days really suck because people really like to wait until the place is about to close and they have a crap load of stuff and there would be like 15 or 20 people in line each with a crap load of stuff...it was frustrating to me.

I have yet to see anything at my walmarts concerning the release of Let Love In...kind of a bummer though. I pre-ordered my copy though but I have to go out and buy my niece a copy on that day, which will be fun.

Yeah I got my cart this morning & signed on to my handheld computer & I hear the most glorious voice ever (Johnny) saying Hi we're the googoodolls & your are watching souncheck or something I backedup til I could see the tv!!!AWESOMENESS!!!!!!Clip from the performance SWY!!!I was all smiles,had no one to share the gooey moment with :nanner: :cucumber: :carrot:

i'll try and find out for you guys if they are. i don't think they did anything special with miranda lambert but they might have after her cd had been out for a while.

yes they are showing that clip about 20 ti mes an hour :) so lets just say it was nice working last night :) lol i had one of the cashiers say LOOK! LOL that put me in a good mood for a hwile lmoa.

oh and correction it is on friday the 28th at 7 pm.

i told the people in the electronics department i want their swag...the cashiers held the pdq box of keith urban stuff hostage for me so i think i can maybe get some goo stuff too. hopefully...
