I am shocked and appalled no one has mentioned that today 4/13/06 is the 10 yr anniversary of the original Goo Goo Dolls Day.

So celebrate today by requesting SWY a few times or watching the new video and trying extra hard to get tickets to the Goos' closest stop on the promo tour. :D

4/13/96 the Goos came back to Buffalo to open for Bush on their tour. It was the first show in Buffalo since the Goos had had a big hit with Name, and it was proclaimed "Goo Goo Dolls Day" in Buffalo.

They were given a second day, 7/4/04 for the LIB show (as I typed LIB it started pouring outside and now it has suddenly stopped... weird...).

cool. thanks for explaining. i do remember hearing about a goo goo dolls day when they played in buffalo but didn't relate the two.
