The new single should be out within the ballpark of like three weeks shouldnt it???

Yea, thats what i thought, but then wouldnt we know if it was like 2-3 weeks?
Maybe they dont want to build up the anticipation..

yeah, that's what I was thinkin' too. And, they should start making appearances on the talk shows, etc very soon :nanner:

I was hoping to see them on the talk shows for Better Days. I'm not holding my breath for it again. I do hope the new single is out before the first of April.

All better days got was the early show.
and a few christmas specials, and RMAs.
No real interviews and such, disappointing.

So far I'm actually really worried about the album. The ....wimpyness of it comes as a true let down to me.
I like hits like naked and big machine.

12 Ballads straight through isn't my cup of tea. and these song names....-worried face.-

Don't fret....You can't judge a song by a title. Think back to Gutterflower. Other than Big Machine or Smash, they could all of all been ballad titles. I think we just have to be patient. The Goo's are pretty loyal to their fans and want to sell CD's...I think we can be pretty confident that there will be a nice balance. The waiting is the hardest part :guitarist:

I'm pretty sure that, a while ago (admittedly before we knew the album title or song names) we were told that the ONLY ballad on LLI was going to be "Better Days". As far as I'm aware, I thought that still stands? So surely, even if the titles don't sound that rocking, they're not going to be that "wimpy". And I still reckon that John and Robby enjoy rocking out to their songs as much as they did before, they're hardly about to abandon running round the stage for a whole album of sit-down, slow acoustic songs... (fingers crossed).

Seeing as we Uk-ers won't see any promo stuff for singles anyhow, I think I'm just going to go with the flow and eagerly anticipate the new album and judge it when I hear it. Not much we can do otherwise, really...
:dunno: But I hope you all get to hear about a new single soon! ;D

I totaly agree i just know they won't let us down i mean come on guys we are Goo fans have they ever let us down NO i have complete faith, it's like Mike said waiting is the worst part though but i think this will be a GOO-reat year for the guys! :nanner:

I don't know for sure, but I think if it were coming out that soon, we'd have already heard about it? I �remember that there was a set radio date for "Here is Gone" when GF came out, and we knew a couple of weeks in advance... I remember hearing it on the radio a few days early and freaking out. ;) So if I had to make a guess, I'd say early April for the new song.

I was just thinking, though -- already having 2 songs on the album that were singles, how many more will they actually release?

Guys even though there are two singles on this album they are really not new singles for this album. Give a little bit is just to help sales as it did so well and the said can be said about better days, its just like Iris...Iris wasn't ment for Dizzy up the girl but it did well for city of angels so they put it on the album because it did so well. �Thats the only reason "better days" is on the album.�We will be hearing a new song or clips from the guys i think within a week. There will be a new single and Its coming soon. This will also be treated like the Number 1 single(promos ect)
