Hey, if you look at these article written in oct -05 and march -06, you can see according to Nielsen Soundscan that the Goo's sold 6000 copies of Gutterflower between oct. and march! :)

That's not so bad when you consider how much wrap the Goo's has gotten over 'poor' album sales for their effort on Gutterflower.

Maybe Gutterflower will get an extra push when LLI arrives, and pass 700.000 copies in the US before the year ends? :D

(Also with reference to the album sales of 682.000. This is for the U.S.! If I'm not mistaken, I'd be very suprised if Gutterflower (witch still is a great album!) hasn't sold more that 1.000.000 units worldwide!)

Yeah, I think "Better days" and "Give a lil bit" are gonna help "Gutterflower" a lot...but those 2 songs are really different from GF. The goo's are good at confusing ppl..hehe.

The goo's don't confuse people, there just smart. It's all part of the reinvention. If the goo's had all there albums the same they would have gotten old awhile ago. Look at there first song that was big, Name. They never used to do stuff like name, they did harder stuff. Then DUTG was totally different, and the same for Gutterflower. I think we can all be pleasently surprised with the new goo album, I have no clue what it will be. I think it will be a mix of Gutter flower and DUTG...

Thanks for letting us know about the album sales. That is really something.

It is very possible GF will have a large amount in new sales when LLI hits a million copies sold.
