THANKS! I love it when ppl post personal videos. I think Youtube is one of the best sites ever. I use to download forever just to get a crappy video, but Youtube offers it within seconds.

He got a great voice, but it's not made for goo. The thing about John songs is that only John can sing them! Of the all of the music in the world, I havent' heard anybody that came close enough, except for that guy who sings "collide"? He's similar, but if he sang John songs, I wouldn't be a fan.

However, "I'm still here" was done pretty well by other artists. I guess it was more of a general song, plus those artists knew how to use their own talents to make it sound good.

DizzyNess, thank you SO MUCH for posting that link! ;D That guy singing Name was pretty good, but the site is fantastic! If you search for "goo goo dolls" a lot of videos pop up, including some of their music videos, performances on Jay Leno and Letterman, their performance of Iris for the Concert for New York, John's duet with Fred Durst, and the Fashion Rocks "Iris" duet with Avril.

I agree with you, Pon...there's just something special about John's voice and performance that makes his songs "his" :)

Lol s'ok! Tis a pretty good site tho! Loadsa goo stuff comes up. Even if it's not directly involving them, but something to do with them, it's still pretty kool to see other peoples interpretations of songs or videos. I had been wanting to hear when Leann Rimes sang name with them, and it was on there! :)

carlyn, I discovered that if you search for "john rzeznik" instead of "goo goo dolls," you'll find the LeAnn Rimes video (it's the second video listed) :)
