Hi fellow Goo fans! :) I'm new to this board so I'd thought I'd introduce myself. I've been haunting this place for a while ever since I "re-discovered" the Goos over Christmas. Before that, all I really knew about them was "Iris" (which is very unfortunate but probably really common).

So anyway, I was bored and checked out their official website and fell in love with Iris all over again when I saw the Live in Buffalo performance. And then I quickly got a copy of the DVD from the library and well...there was no turning back from then on :) Although it was their music and performance that first attracted me, I will admit that John himself is quite attractive ;) But I have also quickly grown to adore Robby and Mike. And now I find myself defending all things Goo to other people!! I've even helped to semi-convert (is there such a thing?) some of my friends to the Goos, although one of them still doesn't think much of their hair (which I also have been staunchly defending, lol!)

Anyhow, there are so many things about the Goos that I find appealing, from their amazing music and lyrics and live performances to their dedication to their fans and their social and political actions. Now all I need to do is get to one of their concerts to finalize my process in becoming a true Goohead! Looking forward to talking obsessively about the Goos with all of you!!

Hey, thanks everyone for the warm welcome. Hi to you as well lindsey! :) Can't wait for the new album!! (the last three times I've walked in my bedroom and turned on the radio, Better Days has been playing. Now is that a sign or what?! :rockin:
