GOO GOO DOLLS WILL LET LOVE IN ON APRIL 4TH.
The Goo Goo Dolls finally have a title and release date for their upcoming album.
In an exclusive interview yesterday in Colorado, the band revealed that the disc will be out on April 4th and will be called Let Love In. It will, of course, feature the hit single �Better Days,� but John Rzeznik says that�ll be the only ballad on the album. The Goos were in Breckenridge, Colorado to tape a show for the concert series Music with Altitude. The performance will air February 25th on MHD � the new high-definition channel being launched on Monday by MTV, VH1 and CMT.

better days the only ballad?? hmmm....that might make me feel a bit better about the upcoming album cuz i thought it'd be all ballady...although i love ballads...so i guess i dunno what to think to that! lol

Yeah its kinda got me wondering aswell what the new album will be like. Maybe one ballad might be a GOOd thing though....

Ballads are slow songs. You could call Name a ballad, and Iris, but I've also heard Iris has been called a power ballad. Black Balloon is a ballad...

Christian, I actually nearly wet myself when I saw your pic! Another Manics fan!! Dear god in heaven I thought I was the only goo fan who liked the Manics too, how totally unbelievable. So cool, love the pic of Richey!

From a standpoint of how successful the CD will be, I'm concerned about only one ballad. That is usually the Goo's bread and butter when it comes to their big singles. While I personally don't care how popular the Goos are, I do care in the sense that a flop album wouldn't be good for their future...

Why would their album be a flop? The Goos make the best music EVER! If their new album doesn't do as well as their last few albums, then it is because everyone has bad taste. And I don't think the Goos would just give up just because one of their cds didn't do well. They never gave up before when tehy hardly sold any records. Also keep in mind that Gutterflower sold a LOT less albums than DUTG. Gutterflower didn't even go platinum while DUTG went triple platinum and here they are releasing another album, and I am sure it will be wonderful.
