Oh man... I missed this when it aired on tv so I'm watching it for the first time right now -- at work even... and I totally started to tear up!

I am SOOOOO happy for them!!!

The performance was amazing, and it's so awesome that they won! My absolute favorite part was seeing their faces when they won (especially John's). They were so happy. They definitely deserved the win! :-*

Wow...they beat out Green Day and U2!!! I'm stunned. Thanks for the link. I've been so out of the loop, I didn't even realize they were nominated for anything.

The look of shock on John's face, priceless. They deserved it most! I'm sooo happy for them. I was expecting Green Day or U2 to get it. And then they said Goo Goo Dolls, and I screamed and cried. I was totally not expecting them to win, I had my fingers crossed and was repeating Goo Goo Dolls to myself the whole time they were showing the nominees.
