If you could ask the Goo's or any individual Goo any question, what would it be?

Mine would be to John asking how he comes up with the music and crazy Tunings for his songs! Them crazy tunings which make it so hard for us to cover :P

From past interviews and such (like in guitar magazines), he has mentioned his song writing process a bit. With the tunings, he experiments until he finds something he likes, since standard tuning can be rather boring. Other than that, music comes before the lyrics.

you guys wanna come over and chill, get intoxicated around the fire, and then maybe smash a car or something??

Could you pull the mower out of the garage, take your shirt off, sing The Girl Right Next To Me and trim the lawn while I sit here with my iced tea and just watch? That's a never ending fantasy of mine.

I'd want to ask if the songs they put on a CD are always written specifically for that CD, or are they constantly writing (even if they aren't putting out a new CD) and then when the time comes to make a new one, do they pick songs from their "stash" to develop for the CD? Hope that made sense....

Also, I'd love to know if they've ever thought about being more radical with their style such as adding a strong brass component ala Cake) or maybe some female back-up singers or experimenting with a jazz or blues or reggae feel. I LOVE them just the way they are, I'm just wondering if they ever toss those ideas around...
