Post by JRMaholic on Dec 1st, 2005, 12:22am Was anyone lucky enough to win PLJ tickets to the show in times square?? what time does the show start? i didnt win tickets YET... :'( but i might just go and see what is going on outside anyways maybe they will give some away outside too etc |

The did play 12 songs...I have a setlist (thanks to my awesome friends) so i can tell you it was: Big Machine Slide Smash Black Balloon Dizzy Here Is Gone Name Broadway Sympathy Iris Better Days encore: Give A Little Bit the boys sounded and looked great- pics to come! te Q& A was fun but far too short...someone asked if john liked to be on top or bottom To which he said, "I think they're asking if I'm gay...but no..it doesn't matter either way to me" LOL more coming soon... |

The Q&A was only about 10 minutes and then they played for about 50 minutes. They sounded the best I've heard them since I saw them on tour for a "A Boy Named Goo." We got to meet the band before the show. It was a very controlled meet-n-greet (they took my husband and I in to meet the band first and we wound up waiting for them to show up for about 15 minutes. When they came in, we joked that we were afraid we were going to have to do our own meet-n-greet. They did not sign anything and a record company rep and a rep from WPLJ took the pics (I'll try to post them when I get them). It was really, really quick and seemed rushed. John is even hotter in person and seemed very shy. I had to introduce myself to him. Robby was really cool and probably would have talked for hours if they didn't hurry him along. Mike seemed like he couldn't be bothered. All in all, it was an amazing show. We got to watch from the VIP section with industry people and the band's family. Robby's wife was there and I think I heard a woman say she was John's sister. It was truly an amazing night. |

Post by JerseyGoo on Dec 3rd, 2005, 10:31am wow i havent posted in over a year........the plj show was awsome....i dont think i can wait til feb or march for a new tour....i need it noww. in the q&a part--they said that they dont have a title for the new album yet and that its not being released until beginning of feb or march. they were asked who gets to choose the songs on their album and they said that they did. mike was asked if he ran today and he said no. john was asked top or bottom....he said it doesnt matter whoever gets on top first ;) race taylor asked htem to play something new, but they said they havent played any of it yet. thats all i remember right now. -Lauren |
