WOW!! Ive never seen so many goo awards for 1st and 2nd in one setting before!! As a die hard goo fan, I wouldnt put them above some people in these awards. They werent that big in 2004 i didnt think? The Buffalo concert was one of the most amazing live shows ever, but besides that i dont see where they were so big. Maybe I just dont think many people are into them? Apparently im wrong....but whoo hoo...nice to see goo gettin some love.

Fantastic you found World Of Rock 2002, sympathy_0! That site is run by 2 WOG members from the UK, LouAndNic, and most people who visit it are either UK-ers or have very similar music tastes, so it's not surprising that the Goos won a lot of awards! We sort of feel they're under-appreciated here, so anything we can do to make it up is seized enthusiastically! Go check out the rest of the site too, it has some really great interviews and photos on and stuff. :thumbsup:

Wow - well that was a surprise to see what this thread is about :o

The page you've found is part of our other website we run (the general rock music one) and we've run a visitor's poll for the last two years now. As Saz said (hi Saz :pals: ), a lot of people who visit share very similar taste in music to us (guess they wouldn't visit otherwise lol) and so we guess it's not that surprising to us that Goo would feature, although we have to say that we were surprised at just how well they did as it's not solely Goo fans that visit. Just goes to show you how much we like 'em over here too ;D

Nice to have pleased you all - it'll be time for this year's poll very soon... watch this space!
