I read somewhere on the board a couple of weeks ago that someone said name was about a girl.

I don't know why but i always interpretted it as a song about john's parents, with lines like ''now we're grown up orphans'' we don't belong to no-one thats a shame'' and right at the end where he sings ''it's lonely where you are come back down''- i always took that as him talking about his parents in heaven and wanting them to come back?? I'm probably totally wrong though but what do you guys think?

I read the meaning of Name somewhere, but I forgot it. I will try to find it again.

I always thought about name as someone hiding from themselves/other people..I still think that, even after reading it..it could be about living a lie aswell..i duno though..:S
