I dunno if this is the place to post this so I'm sorry if I'm not suppose to. Sadly, I have to find a way to pay for school books and such...the only things I have that are worth something is my ggd collection :(. If anyone is interested in seeing pictures or a list of things I'm selling you can pm me.

it is a sad, sad day in this country when you have to sell goo merch to pay for school stuff. But on the other hand, I wanna see what you got, so send it over! :D

Don't sell your Goo stuff! Join the Army National Guard instead 8) Go to basic training, but don't do the basic training/AIT mix, just the basic. What that will do is keep you from getting deployed for as long as you signed up :D And you work one WEEKEND a month, and 2 weeks out of the year (during the summer, just an FTX - field training exercise).

The army will pay for your FULL TUITION and 15 hours worth of classes per semester. They will also give you $300 CASH for your books, AND you'll get paid about $150 per weekend. I think $150 is the pay for an E-1 (PV1). You'll be in shape AND you'll get money!

PLUS, if you decide to join the corps of cadets at your college, you'll get paid as an E-5 (sergeant's pay, you won't be a sergeant, but you'll get paid like one). You'll get that E-5 pay, plus the tuition, plus the 15 hours of classes per semester, plus the $300 for your books, PLUS an extra $300 a month just for being in the corps.

AND if you choose one of the specialty kicker jobs (I don't have the list on me, but you can ask a recruiter), you'll get all that stuff from the prior paragraph PLUS an extra $300!

You'll get paid, job training, and be physically fit.

I think it's a good deal 8)

I'm not promoting or anything, I just thought that might help you with your college :)

Unless you want to risk getting sent to Iraq, you might not want to join the National Guard. Selling your Goo collection is probably alot safer and will get you money now.

Holy cow I could never sell my goo stuff. I'd find other things in my house to pawn or sell first before I resotred to selling goo stuff.. Luckly my mom said as long as I am serious about school she would pay for my books and I only take 2 classes at a time since I do classes online and I get electronic books so its way cheaper then buying an actual book.
I'd like to see your list of stuff though.

okay, because I have never sold anything online I'm kinda new at this...I didn't think about people asking for the same item lol. So I guess I'm gonna ebay my stuff. Sorry bout the confusion. Umm, for those who have already asked me for things which no one else has asked for I'll still sell to. But after that everything's going up on ebay :'( I'll post the link when it's all ready to go..

yeah, ebaying is probably your best bet, plus they work out all the payment methods and stuff.

you'll also hopefully get the max amount of money people are willing to pay.

Caroline - actually, you won't get deployed to Iraq if you join the guard and only go to basic instead of going to both basic and AIT ;) ESPECIALLY if you're going to college. And if you're going to college, you might as well commission as an officer - that gets 2 contracts under your belt that say "NO, I CANNOT GET SENT OVER THERE NO MATTER WHAT UNTIL I COMPLETELY FINISH MY DEGREE!" :)

And hah hah, I hadn't noticed you were in Canada, sorry about that :) Do you have Financial Aid? You can apply for that if you have that over there :) Or student loans - which you don't have to pay back until you've received your degree and are making a million dollars (let's hope!) a year :D

Not that I'm thinking of joining or anything ::) but what does AIT stand for, Sky? Yes, I'm too lazy to google it. ;)

I can sympathize with anyone having a hard time paying for college though. When I went, it only costed me $300 per semester for tuition. Now you're lucky if you can take a course for $300 per credit hour at a lot of these colleges. Jeesh.

Some of my classes cost almost 800 dollars. BUt because I have a disability and I'm considered low income I get grants and loans to pay for it. There's no way I could do it if I couldn't get those.

You know you want to join! ;) And AIT stands for Advanced Individual Training. It's the training that specifically prepares you for your army job :) The equivalent to that in the Air Force is "tech school."

$300 for tuition?? :o ::gets to work on a time machine::

Sorry to hear you're going to sell your collection. That bites. I hope you get enough to carry you for books the whole time you are in school.

As far as the military....having been in it, I would suggest it for anyone. The training is great besides the money for school.
