ok I first I am new and I love the ggd's.

I have been reading the message boards alot and was wondering if people are always on, because it seems like it. It cool cause then I get to learn more about what ggd's what their concerts are like.

hey welcome to the boards...yea there's usually someone on the board because we're from all over the world so there's obviously time differences...like its actually 10.22am here in UK at the moment but there're are probably a lot of people asleep right now! it says it's 4.12am on the board lol.......

Hi Shannon and welcome :) there's usually someone on at all times! you joined at a great time with the new album coming out in a few months, there will be alot more activity.

Goo concerts ARE the best...I'm not exaggerating!

Hey Shannon. I'm Shannon too. I hope you like it here. There's always someone on. Some times are busier than others. This is definitely a great time to come here with the new album due out soon. I haven't seen the board this active in a long time. And, I'm starting to see some people I haven't seen in awhile too. :)

thanks for the welcome. I am hoping that when they start touring again that they come back here. I just discovered them this past april or may with the lib concert. I don't know where I have been before that to have to not have heard them before. oh well, I can't get enough of them though.

Hey that's how i discovered them but i had heard of them but never really paid attention huh i don't know why!!!!!!!! I don't think once you listen to Goo you don't ever stop lol!!!

ok i shouold clarify a little, I remember seeing the video for iris and turning the channel because I did not like rock music at the time. Plus that song was being really overplayed and did not like it from listening to it on the radio every five minutes (at least it seemed like every 5 minutes).

It just took a while for me to pay much or any attention to them, but I don't like the same type of music as I did back then. I would like to say that I have better taste in music now since I got out of high school and about to graduate from college.

I love them now and can not wait until the new cd comes out.

yea the goo goo dolls completely transformed my taste in music...when i saw iris i was suddenly all about guitars and rock..i love them guys lol
