I absloutly love "Lazy Eye" it's one of my favorite Goo songs but what is John whispering in the back?? I have been trying to figure that out forever??

which part are you talking about?

i think throughout the song there is an echo whisper effect of what he is already singing,

if youre talking about the part at timecode, 2:30, i think its just an effect.

I don't know. I've always wondered about that. I've even turned it up real loud so I could hear it, but I could never understand.

I'm inclined to say that it's at the same part in the video where he's tossing a cube, showing the cube's face to the camera, then throws it again. Each face side had a word, and I want to say that I heard the word "hope" during that part, but I'm only going off of memory right now, so . . . this is not really helpful at all . . .

there's one part, where the music slows down just before it gears up again. . .i think some of it is just heavy breathing, but i'm pretty sure he's saying 'secret life'. . . ;D

Oh yea, I know the bit you're on about. I knida thought it was along the lines of 'secret life', or 'living secretly'
Then I kinda thought he was repeating or maybe what he said earlier in the song 'secret lies, everyone now needs to hide'
Can't find the lyrics on any song lyric sites either.
I guess that we're just not meant to know..... :-X

He says either "secret lies" or "secret lives". Then there's breathing. Then I think he says something else inaudible (but I always think it sounds like water dripping in a basement...)
