Hey guys,
As some of you know , i'm in a Goo Goo Dolls tribute band called Star Car and I had posted some of our songs on here a while ago. We have recoreded one new song and have remixed another song.

The new one is "Fallin Down":

Remember, these are not professionally recorded songs. We also recorded "Here is Gone", but it didn't turn out too well.

Great guitar playing i liked it!!!! Can you do or have you done "Big Machine" that's one of my favorite songs!!!!

hey thanks....u want me to be honest?

I think the instruments is great..no problem. With professional equipment and more practice, u guys can be the best.

The voice, I wouldn't say it's bad, but the voice don't really fit goo songs. Plus, the voice don't sound as great and I'm guessing it's cuz of the sound system that u guys use...which is okay. Even professionals don't sound as good and it's often that John don't sound as good cuz of the system. Sometimes he sound like an angel, sometime not that great.

As we all know, NOBODY can sing a John song. Take some of the best rock stars out there and they don't sound right cuz John's songs are very unique and exclusive.

I think the lead singer needs to find their own kind of style and songs or cover other bands. The voice sounds more like "saves the day" or that group that sings "vindicated" from spidy 2 soundtrack.

Good luck! Don't take it the wrong way....NOBODY can sing a john song...even the best singers in the world...even AVril who is one of the top stars nowadays.

If I had more than one day to record "Fallin Down", then it probalby would have been better and with drums. You see, its a lot of work recording and mixing songs, I had to play all the instraments by myself for "Fallin Down", but the band was with me when we recorded "Cuz you're gone". I don't want to sound like John, that would make me a poser. I know i'm not the best singer in the world, but i'm the only one in the band that knows all the lyrics and can play all the guitar parts. We just really like playing Goo Goo songs, but we also do some Oasis songs; we recorded a few Oasis songs too. Thank you for your honesty, we like to know what people think of our covers.
