I think that the video should be a like a retrospective of their life, with their home movies and old photos and stuff.

OR

The band walking around and town that just got destroyed (you guys know where i'm talking about).

What do you guys think the video will be like?

it's gonna be hard to beat the CNN commericial that I just saw. It was so amazing. I had goosebumps.

and "walking around and town that just got destroyed" is too much like "blv of broken dreams"

they should do something new...
i'm getting the song today...maybe an idea will pop up...

I just hope it'll be fresh and original. and not christmassy..please...not christmassy...

And I agree the gym thing has been done,the destroyed town has been done,but I like the idea about old photos and home videos.

I don't think it's an xmas song..I think its just about recent global events...

and maybe the video should show volunteer work on video...people helping in deprived countries and stuff... that could be a nice tribute...

or if u want a normal video..how about just showing a kid going off into the world? seeing all the obscenity of it...

I'm sorry,I don't mean to sound rude but,how on Earth can you not see how it is a Christmas song?!They even said in that video,that it was a Christmas song, and the lyrics clearly give it away!

Oh god, if they do hurricane stuff I'll throw up. Well, not really but I'd want to. ;)

I hope they do something similar to Johnny's "I'm still Here" video. The storyline of the song is acted out by someone else, but John is there (and in this case so is Robby and Mike) watching it unfold kind of telling the story.

That's what I'm keeping my fingers crossed for, anyway.

well...u did ask that pretty rudly...
the thing is, I know its a christmas song and it sounds like one in the beggining. but it does have a deeper meaning then that later on as the song progresses....
I'm sorry if u don't see it that way...

Same here.  But I think it's safe to say it would be rather tasteless to try to profit off a national disaster and I think the band would realize that.  

I also think it's safe to say it won't be an overtly Christmas-y video.  The song may have been written for a Christmas album, but it can definitely be applied to other times of the year and I think the band will make a video that doesn't force the song into only a 2 month window.

My guess would be something like HiG, where the band is playing and it cuts away to a storyline, except it won't be as dark as HiG and there will be more of the band in it.

Yeah, I agree. But I can see the guys donating proceeds to the hurricane fund ... which is nice and all, but I really don't want a hurricane video! Haha.

I agree. That idea is similar to what I wanted when I suggested the I'm Still Here video.  :D

The dancing fruit and veg should be in the video, and maybe little tiny dancing John, Robby and mike too.

Thats the kinda video i wanna see......
