On the main page, there's a section of new releases. You can scroll through and Better Days is listed. But when I click it, it won't take me anywhere.

In the top right corner, there's a search box with a drop down menu. select songs and type Better Days.

you'll get a list of songs. you can put them in order by artist and then it'll be there.

i have to look up the goo goo dolls lists of albums and its sitting there

but it wont go anywhere when i click on better days to try and buy it

Great song..minus the suspense. I remember when I heard "Iris" for the first time on the radio...I didn't really know that they even had a single out. I was screaming like a little girl back then. Now, it's like I've been expecint and I already heard a clip and I had to pull a credit card.

man..I hate I tunes.. I got the song..but I can't burn it. Ya can't convert it to mp3 or wave either cuz it's copyrighted. Am I supposed to only sit here and listen?? The best place to listen is in my room and car.

I never liked apple..but i love goos..glad to pay goo..wish I can take money away from apple.

Wow - I like it. I know y'all loooooved it from the clip, and I thought it was catchy, but I was skeptical. The guys could probably have spent the last couple months packing their own feces into jewel cases and some of you would just blindly go, "I love the goos!!1111one!11" But, again, I was skeptical and a little bit worred - it didn't quite sound like the Goo I know.

I mean, they've changed quite a bit over the years sound-wise, but this seemed REALLY different.

And I still stand by that after I've heard the full thing - it's VERY sugary, VERY ballad-y, VERY orchestral in a pop-ish kind of way. Sorry for my word choice; I can't seem to be very eloquent right now. Even their former "ballads" like "Black Balloon" had a major acoustical element to them - the guitar was just as much a presence as John's voice.

This, on the other hand, doesn't seem to have much of a musical, down and dirty raw guitar element to it. It's very ambient, almost epic-sounding, which is not necessarily a bad thing - don't get me wrong.

This is all not to say I don't like it. It's new, and it's different, and though there are those people who puff out their chests and say that they knew the Goos "way back when" and "oh, how they've sold out", change is good. It shows a progressive mind and a band that's willing to try new things and actually grow.

And though this is very pop and less raw than the Goo Goo Dolls of yesteryear, I welcome it with open arms.

It's great to hear John's voice again on something new. Haven't posted in close to a year, but this was something I couldn't pass up talking about.

I think I actually liked the clips better than the whole song. It's alright and I know it'll probably grow on me, but for now it's just okay. It doesn't have the 'hook' or memorable guitar riffs that drew me to the Goos. If I didn't know this was a Christmas-y song, I would have thought "Holy hell! The Goos went Christian!" So I'm in a weird place with it because I hate Christmas music and have a hard time liking Christian music.

Getting around the copywrite is easy...youre going to have to waste one cd though, its the only way I can get it to work....first....drag the song better days into its own playlist...burn the cd......next, go to edit, preferences, advanced, importing....change the encoding from aac to mp3, and then pick the quality you want....next, since the cd has already been burned, click on the cd in itunes and choose to import it, and there you go, no more copy protection, and an mp3 you can do anything you want with....even put it on ur ipod

i had trouble putting better days (the mp4) on my ipod, so the mp3 helped
=)

I just got it. I LOVE IT!!!! I wasn't sure if I was going to like it from just the clips and then finding out it was on a Christmas album but I totally love it!!!!

This is my favorite part when the music gets dramatic and he sings:

I think the song is great..but I'm not into the chorus and right where the solo supposed to be..it sounds very unorigial. Sound like that song with that eric roberts guy was in. song called "it was only a kiss or something".

And yeah, it's so happy positive. What ever happens to "shots in the dark from empy guns, never heard by anyone"? hehe.

Doesn't it make u wanna go to church and start giving? Holding hands? hehe.

I FINALLY got it and I LOVE IT ! Listening to it for the second time right now...but it sure wasn't easy. Here's how my morning went:

Got up at 5:30 to download from itunes, however, it's been soooo long since I've purchased any songs I didn't have the latest version and had to download that first...it took 4 f*cking hours :pissed:

Of course, I'd forgotten my password too...dealt with that.

Ok - I'm finally ready to get down to business...but wait...my credit card has expired...grrr...dealt with that.

Finally, it only took 20 minutes to download it on dial-up ::)

Now this my friends it what's known as delayed gratification ;)

Better Days is awesome, I think it will become a huge hit

OK....So....I gave in and bought the song for the 99cents. I wasnt going to. I was hoping it would be available on CD, but it wasnt...

So yea, listening to it for the first time and I dont really know how i feel about it yet....

I'm not really impressed.... :-/

I am sure it will grow on me tho...Goo always does.

Was really excited last night when I downloaded it and had a chance to listen to it before I went to bed.

This morning, I listened again...and again...You know, there aren't many lyrics to the song...Lots of chorus...lots of love... I think the suspense left me expecting a lot more. To be honest, I hope that this truly IS just a Christmas song that will be on a compilation CD. If that is it's purpose, it's perfect. It has a nice holiday lyrics, sentiment and melody. It's not that I don't like it, and just hearing Johnny's voice again so strong is great; however, I don't LOVE it. That doesn't mean I haven't been humming it all stinkin' day!

Can't wait for the video and just to hear something other than GALB on the radio from the Goos. I hope that their new album is progressive in growth, but doesn't depart too far from the goo we all love. ;D

If only I had stayed up another half hour or so, I would have had it last night. Overslept this morning since I lost power for a bit last night, but I just got home from work, downloaded the song, and I'm in love with it! I'm sooooo happy the suspense is finally over! What a great song! ;D

I just finally had the chance today to sit at the computer to download it. This song just blew me away, it was a very thoughtful song. Although it is not what I'm use to from GOO, it made me excited for what's to come.
