Do u guys think there's a chance? I think objectively, it's better than "slide". It is definitely the most similar to "Iris". Catchy? yes indeed...plus the christmas sound that u can't help but love. However, the lyrics, the chorus isn't as catchy as "iris"...any idiot can remember "iris" and shizzle load of ppl were singing the chorus to iris.

I don't really like "Better Days", but i've always been more of a fan of the non-single stuff...
Iris was on a OST...thats why it did so well...

I don't understand the question.What exactly are you asking?Are you asking if we think it's better than Iris and Slide or what?Sorry if I sound rude,I don't mean to come off that way.
Personally,I love it!Probably one of my favorites so far.
I don't see why people just think it's alright and that it sounds like it should be on a movie soundtrack.I mean it's a Christmas song for a Target Christmas Album!
But,I'm only saying that because I think it's one of their best songs yet.But that's just my honest opinion.

oops..sorry. I mean to say better than Iris....I dunno why it was left out??

I don't really like the prechorus chorus part..where he sings "take these words and sing out loud"...it doesn't drive me crazy but the verse and the part "tonight is the yadda" is really good.

I don't love it completely, but I still think it's one of the best. A great song with some parts I don't like, but still a great song.....one of their best.

I know vh-1 is gonna be nice to this song and it has a big chance. And yeah, I agree with someone above...Iris did well cuz it was in a movie. Everybody who saw that movie was forced to listen to it.

Anyways, I think the christmas sound is what's gonna give it a push. Let's see how it do!

Got to agree with nmf016 here, I don't think I could say how popular it could be before I've even heard the whole song. It's very difficult to get the whole "vibe" from 1 minute. Ok, so you get a fairly good idea, but not the WHOLE thing. It's not being negative, but at the same time there's not much point in jumping to conclusions (whether they're negative OR positive) before we've heard the whole thing. For all we know, they might have a bagpipe interlude in the middle or something...:P

However, from what I've heard so far it's fairly catchy and seems to be quite Christmassy, so I'd hope it does well. Can't wait for it to be released so we can say for sure!! ;D

Is anyone else concerned that it might not hit big at first because it's a Christmas song and it's only September? Granted, most places decorate for Christmas way early, but this seems a bit too early. I'm afraid there might be some backlash with it only being September. I see it picking up in November when everyone wants to get into the Christmas spirit, but I'm not sure about now.

is it officialy a christmas song or does it just sound chrismacy?
If its catchy enough it'll do well anyway...
and if it will be radio friendly..that will help...
we'll just have to wait for the whole thing i guess...
